The curious critter known as Megan Lindholm was born as Margaret Astrid Lindholm in 1952. The first half of her minority was spent in California until her family moved to Alaska, where she graduated from high school. If lore holds true, there was a brief stint at the University of Colorado, but she stopped in favor of returning to Alaska with her husband, where she started writing under her maiden name. She has published close to two dozen pieces of fiction in the past twenty-five years, and she currently lives in Washington state.

In 1994, Megan published her first novel under the pseudonym Robin Hobb. While she has continued to publish Lindholm short fiction, all of her novels have been written as Hobb. For more of an explanation, visit the FAQ section, or go to my Hobb section and discover the difference yourself.

As much stuff about Megan is not made available on the internet, this section will be quite small to as respect her privacy. If you want more personal information about her, I suggest you go to her website and poke around there.
