Fate was the result of perhaps a dozen hours of pencil work, made during the same week as "Sorrow" and "Fitzy-fitz". I wanted to make something that would capture the Fool's predicament, hence an androgynous wooden puppet in a jester's outfit reaching towards a bright goal. Or something to that effect. It came out stiffer than I would have liked. Pencil.
